Several shops have recently experienced problems with the POS system. Due to a computer malfunction the operating software was unable to re-start itself, resulting in error messages. As the issues were hardware-based we could not resolve this remotely, so we travelled to all shops to replace some core components. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused but we trust we have solution in place that will prevent this from happening again.

Over the last few months, we have been busy setting up our full-service model in Austria. This move represents a further expansion of our platform in Europe. With a local support and logistics solution in place, we’re now good to go. Our first shops will open for business this week already, but you can expect to see us in many more hotels before the summer arrives.

It is important that all shop items are placed in a clean and safe environment. So please include your Wundermart shop in a regular cleaning schedule. This is particularly important for the fridges, as mould happily grows in humid conditions.
We recommend that all shelves and surfaces, as well as the fridges, are thoroughly cleaned at least once a quarter. Instructions for looking after your Carrier fridge can be found in this video. Keeping fridges bright and shiny will also make them last longer.
Before you start your clean, please make sure you take detailed photos of the shelves, so all products are placed back in the same way when you’re done. If you have any questions about this, please contact our customer support team.
